Magpie Girl 2 – She was not afraid to show her magpie tendencies

Magpie Girl 2 (13” x 23”)

After the wire dress, I experimented with a a ruffled skirt. This magpie girl ties bits of lace, pretty paper, buttons, watch parts, broken jewelry and other hardware to her skirt.

The background is made like the other quilt with scraps of fabric fused to the batting and then free motion doodle stitched.
