The final part of our summer vacation started in Anchorage. We visited the Glen Alps Trailhead as the rain and clouds started to clear to see the beautiful view, the city and inlet in one direction and mountains in the other.
The next day we ventured north to Eklutna Lake for some light hiking and sunshine.
Then to Whittier for a glacier cruise. It poured rain the entire day but the glaciers were still impressive. We saw a sea otter and birds but no whales.
