This past weekend was the annual quilt show organized by the Anchorage Log Cabin Quilters. I thought I would share some of the fabulous work displayed there.
Show weekend is always fun but very exhausting.
These quilts won awards.
I want to make a zebra quilt now.
The purple and teal quilt was created with machine embroidery.
happy colors!
There was a 10 decades of Anchorage display celebrating Anchorage’s centennial.
The guild created the banners for each decade…
…and 40 small quilts were created (4 for each decade) to commemorate an event that occurred.
The Anchorage Modern Quilting Group set up a display along with several other small groups.
