Last year I completed this art quilt as you see it above. A girl in a floral dress and boots is enjoying a day out with her dog. But I received a few complaints about the lack of a skirt.
I love dimension on my quilts, so I took the complaints to heart and added a skirt with a bit of yellow ribbon as a belt.
Which one do you like better?

Definitely the dimensional one! So cute!
I really like the first one better. Lacking the fuss of a dimensional skirt, she seems more ready for an adventure with her dog, to me. Not something I thought about when I first saw it, but if I have to compare, in this circumstance, I like the pared down version. But I hasten to add, I like any of your quilts with pets on them!
