My 16 year old sewing machine began doing this last week – that’s the backside of the binding stitches – I could not stop the extra loops from occuring. I mentioned it to a friend and she thought I might like a straight stitch only machine.
I went to the sewing machine dealer and asked about them. She was right! This is Jane – she is awesome!
She came with the extension table, knee lift and all the feet a quilter could need. I’ve had a fun few days cleaning my studio and testing her out! There’s so much room I successfully free motion quilted a lap size quilt without frustration.
I have the same machine only it’s a Brother and I love it. I know that Baby Lock and Brother are made by the same company, but not sure which makes both. It’s a dream to free-motion quilt with too. Maybe I need to give my Brother a name too? Have a good time with Jane!!!
Mine is also the Brother version and I love it. I think you will really enjoy Jane. I’m glad Jane came to live with you.
