This is one of the glad message quilts in Sew Somerset. I don’t often keep tiny scraps, but sometimes I have to fuse them to batting and create a background.
This piece reminds me to find my glad – the thing that lights me up and makes my heart sing.

I continue to be inspired by your work and creativity! My glad is whenever I am creating something, especially if it’s for someone I care about. It can be a dish I’m making in the kitchen, a card I’m writing to a friend, a basket of flowers I’m collecting from my garden, or *especially* sewing something in my craft room!
