Last year I completed this art quilt as you see it above. A girl in a floral dress and boots is enjoying a day out with her dog. But I received a few complaints about the lack of a skirt. I love dimension on my quilts, so I took the complaints to heart and added

Ivory silk makes a wonderful dress on a blushing bride. The stitched words in the background is my favorite part of the piece. They will always steal moments together (11” x 14”)

I so enjoy collecting tulle – the colors and textures are almost as good as candy. They look so good on ballerina art quilts like the crushed tulle on this adorable red head. Dancing is her happy (9” x 13”)
