The flowers are fussy cut from floral print fabrics. It’s a fun challenge to find prints just the right size. I had quilted ‘journey to happiness’ when I made the background, but the bike covered some of the words so I added ‘bike happy’ after the bike was applied. I like that it now seems

Black Bike

A boy’s boy in black/dark gray. The fabric used to make the bike is a text print on dark gray. I used a knife edge binding on the bike quilts. I’ve been experimenting with how to do it quickly and efficiently. It’s a puzzle I like solving and hopefully someday mastering. Enjoy the ride –
