Sometimes my mind needs a break from art quilts. I’m auditioning the placement of these crocheted flowers, stems and various shapes in green brown and purple on a piece of burlap.

My quilt guild posed a challenge in which we were to create a small quilt based on a children’s book/story. I picked Dr. Suess’ Oh, the Places You’ll Go! I changed the guy in yellow to be a girl and added my favorite line from book to the quilt.
