#9 – Notes (9” x 9”) – fabric scrap laid on quilt and additional lines stitched on canvas, doodle stitched words ‘embrace imperfection, dream big, play more, work less’

I created 12 canvas backgrounds: canvas, cotton batting, muslin stitched together pillowcase style. Turned and once stitch around the edges to secure the opening. Blank background for play. #1 – Soar (8” x 9.5”) – doodle stitched cage and word; blue acrylic paint wash applied; yellow dot fabric laid on the canvas and doodle stitched

When I got on a trip, I don’t feel comfortable unless I bring along a craft project (or two). Since we were vacating with friends – there was lots of crafting together – making scrapbooks with the little girls and wall art for their parents to commemorate our trip, but I also brought along hand
