chevrons and dots in a rainbow of color – it’s going to be a happy quilt
The journal fabrics in the Noteworthy line by Sweetwater drew me in. The colors are cheerful and I can’t help but smile when I see this quilt. I used a charm pack, mini charm packs and fat eighths bundle to create the top. Mostly piecing patchwork with no pattern in mind. Just stitching to stitching.

I’ve been quilting and binding the Husband’s Challenge and scrap quilt for me. The cats love them as much as we do. When it warms up a bit, I might be able to find the quilts unoccupied so I can take pictures of them finished.

I finished quilting and binding 5 more quilts for holiday gifts – most of these are for my nephews and niece. Here are tiny photos of some of these quilts – I don’t want to ruin any surprises.
My Say Yes to the Dress quilts won the Viewers’ Choice award for the mixed media category. Such an honor to win but it was much better seeing people smile while looking at my quilts.

I was sick for almost a week with a nasty cold. What did I do when not sleeping or working? I quilted. Eight of those quilt tops I made earlier in the year are now quilted! This quilt is my favorite. I quilted it with a chevron pattern and changed the thread color as I
