I’ve been using scraps of hand marbled fabrics for hair some of these girls. The subtle color changes add more movement. She enjoys being on the ice (6” x 12)

There’s not much snow in town but it’s still winter in Alaska and I’ve got a slew of winter art to share. So regardless of the recent start of Spring, I’m celebrating winter and the joy of watching snow fall on the mountains. They enjoy the snow (6” x 12”)

So much snow today – it’s wonderful – until you have to drive in it – it’s beautiful though and so nice to have a winter wonderland, even if it only lasts a day or so. He finds fun in the rink (9” x 12”)

A bit of marbled fabric gives even more movement to her hair as she spins on the ice. The raw edges on the mittens make them look fuzzy. She is happy on skates (6” x 12”)

Another winter biking girl – they are fun to create and the frosty tree fabric is such fun for winter scenes.

I do enjoy the crunch of snow while bundled up in a soft warm scarf, hat and gloves. Unfortunately we have ice in the mornings and melty messes in the afternoon. I miss snow. They enjoy winter walks (9” x 12”)

I’m not coordinated enough for skiing, but I enjoy seeing everyone in their gear at the resort – especially the kids. Everyone seems to be having a great time. Happiness is skiing (9” x 12”)
