I tried pushing my skills with Photoshop to create a digital collage from a few antique cards and photos I have in my collection. It was a different process for making art but fun to try something new.

Larger and elaborate quilts begin with a sketch. This is just a small chunk of the quilt. I have had so much on this project.

This quilt was commissioned by my husband’s aunt. She’s so cute. I liked the pattern so much, I made another quilt.

Part 2 of my summer vacation continued with a train trip to Denali National Park. This was the view as we passed over Hurricane Gulch.
