Me and my brothers
I took some time off from work to visit family and friends in Indiana and Ohio. While I was there, I was scheduled to teach a workshop in Cincinnati that was sadly cancelled due to ice and snow. Thankfully, my lecture the following day was not cancelled. I shared my creative process and happiness. It was great to see familiar faces in the Ohio Valley Quilters’ Guild and see the creativity of the guild members.
My adorable niece who was thrilled to tell me all about her toys
Visiting with my family and friends was fun, but I was very happy to get home after being away form 12 days. Catching up after being off has been a challenge, but I’m enjoying the snuggles from my kitties and husband who missed me.

Hi Carrie – we definitely enjoyed having you back at the Guild. Love your work and your enthusiasm. When you get a chance you should try to contact Checker Distributors http://www.checkerdist.com/
and pitch your patterns and fabrics to them. I’d love to see you be able to make your art your livelihood. Take care-
