She Could Dance All Night (8” x 10”)

While sorting through the cream, green and black scraps on my table, I found a face and hair I had cut out next to the selvedge of the back of my midnight & cream quilt. I immediately thought about a flamenco style dress.

I cut a dress top and found a piece of muslin I had practiced thread doodling on and my dancing lady was born. I added some green stitching to satisfy the requirements of my paint chip challenge and in a less than 2 hours another quilt was complete.

I love this little quilt, but I’m afraid between this dancing girl and She said ‘I do’ I am officially addicted to ruffles. I see many more ruffle dress quilts in my future.
