My Fluffy kitty got sick last weekend. On Wednesday she had surgery for an obstruction in her GI track.
As my doodling shows, I was worried about her.
Fluffy returned home on Thursday with instructions to not run or jump for 10 days while she heals.
Her bandage is off, she is eating and we are having a difficult time trying to convince her not to jump. Despite being 8 years old, she is all kitten.
While worrying about Fluffy this week, I found it difficult to make art quilts. Instead, I dove into piecing and quilting a queen size quilt.
I am the same way as you, Carrie and worry so much about my pets. Keep pampering your baby and she will be well soon.

I just now read this post and wanted to send out love and healing thoughts to you and your sweet one. What an exhausting week for both of you. Yet, much to be thankful for–good vets, availability of surgical intervention, and, most of all, being home together again. xxx Beth
