The timing didn’t work out for me to participate in a QuiltCon charity quilt before QuiltCon. So my local modern quilting group decided to make a quilt in the challenge colors for our local Red Cross. I’ve finished 4 blocks – can’t wait to see what the rest of the group comes up with.
I’m also staring a bee with a friend – we’ll swap making blocks for each other. These are the fabrics, I decided to use. A chunk of Japanese prints and some blenders to coordinate. I finished my first two blocks.
It’ll take most of the year to assemble the top, but it will be fun journey.
