WIP – baby quilt (expected 44†x 44â€)
As I was gathering fabrics for my next set of magpie girls I saw several fat quarters with pink. My brother and sister-in-law recently learned they are expecting a girl; my first soon to be niece needs a quilt. She’ll be baby sister to my two nephews so I wanted something girly but not too girly. I based the pattern on this Moda Bake Shop Recipe but used 6†squares and turned the lollipops into flowers. I’m still re-arranging the layout, photos seem to help more than just seeing it on the floor. I like the various shades of pink with just a bit of blue and green.
