On a recent trip to a local quilt shop looking for inspiration, I picked up these fabrics. When I selected most these fabrics (the bottom 8), I was not thinking of art quilts. Instead I am considering using them in a queen size quilt that will be donated for an art auction. When paired with a solid white I am loving them.
The bottom 8 fabrics are from the Blend fabrics line Harmony. There are butterfly prints in the collection too, but I wasn’t feeling them.
The other two fabrics are from the Geofabulous line also by Blend. I might use these in art quilts. I like the bright colors paired with the darker blue and the grid created as they intersect the colors.
