Ghoulish Good Time

Ghoulish Good Time (13” x 17”)

I stitched the background to mimic bark and then constructed a girl mummy from ribbon that I singed. She was stitched to the background and I strung little orange shell buttons from the trees. I envisioned them as little orange lanterns but perhaps they are poison apples instead.

Added a green button to decorate her updo.

The quilt says ‘The party in the woods was a ghoulish good time’.

  1. This is really fabulous – LOVE the orange buttons.

  2. you never fail to amaze me! BTW, from one bibliophile to another, I think both Woods and Words works!!

  3. Again, amazing! I have got to get me a copy of those books and see all the ins and outs of this. Where do you get the faces to print out? I love how you inspire me to try new things.
