I awoke early this morning from a dream I didn’t quite want to leave. The dream wasn’t pleasant, I was part of 60 people being tested for an unstated reason. I was stressed in the dream, desperate to be on time. It’s probably a reaction to my week of meeting deadlines, coupled with the start of a new semester at the university for Troy.

When I created this piece, I wasn’t thinking about sleep dreams – those moving pictures that don’t seem to make sense and sometime turn into night terrors for me (still a little afraid of hippos and ostriches). I was thinking of dreams that are can become goals and reality with lots of small steps or giant leaps of faith. Anyway, it’s Friday – a great day to take a small step toward fun and relaxation as we head into the weekend.
