In January, I set a goal to have a quilt published in Art Quilting Studios. I had two articles in Sew Somerset in June which was awesome but not quite my goal.
The December issue is out and I have 3 quilts featured in an article on my Creative Girl Art Quilts. The article looks great – the quilts look amazing – I’m thrilled!
I owe a huge hug and thank you to Christy Tomlinson for the inspiration I gained in her She Art Workshop. I met my goal and I rediscovered my passion for art quilts.
Go pick up the December issue of Art Quilting Studio; it’s full of colorful and creative content that will inspire you to quilt.
A BIG CONGRATS TO YOU!!! your quilts are so fabulous and deserve to be published!!! happy for you!
What a terrific accomplishment – and so deserving! You have always amazed me with your talent and boundless creativity. How nice that you are now able to inspire a wider audience. Congratulations! Can’t wait to buy my copy.

Congratulations! I think your quilts are great! I’ll be looking for a copy at my upcoming trip to the craft store.
Congratulations, Carrie! Just rounded up a copy of the magazine. The clerks had to dig in the back to find it. I let them know that there is a local artist published this month and that there may be more interest in the magazine. Go, girl! You’re living a little magic, and spreading it around liberally. Thanks for sharing your talent and spark!
