In winter, I hold hands with my husband or I tuck my hand into the crook of his arm. It sounds sweet, but mostly it’s for stability on slick surfaces. The first winter we were in Alaska, I fell several times on sidewalks, in the middle of the road while crossing it (thankfully there were no cars around) and in a parking lot. After that winter, I found the proper gait and footing for walking on slick surfaces. I do appreciate knowing that if I’m going to fall while out with my husband, we’ll go down together.
They enjoy winter (9†x 12â€)
