I’ve been designing some new art quilts for an upcoming art show and paused to snap some photos of the backgrounds before I began stitching. I thought you might like to see how these develop over the next few weeks. 
I’m attempting to capture views of Alaska and after quilting the backgrounds, each will have an appliqué girl and/or boy on them.
A few months ago, I finished this commission quilt. I so enjoy writing with thread.
