I am enthusiastic about getting my sewing projects done! Also starting a new project is always such fun!
Summer always brings on enthusiasm for me! Gardening, hiking, birthdays, pool parties and fun, quick sewing projects get me fired up! Sumer is such a short time to squeeze all of the “fun” into! “Stitches Up Magic” is my favorite so far as it reminds me of my red hair and chain stitching behind my sewing machine. You are so inspiring, Carrie!
My garden!
The recent rain has sent everything into overdrive – including me!!
I am trying to find some enthusiasm to finish a memory quilt from my mother-in-laws clothing after she passed. I find it is harder to do this than a “regular” quilt. Taking a break to look at your stitching up magic is helping. I just love all of your projects. Thanks for the inspiration!
We just had new carpeting put in, so I’m enthusiastic about redecorating a few rooms, which includes making some new quilts to match the décor!
Our year-old puppy is leaving her endlessly naughty stage and is becoming a very sweet and fun companion. We can see her true personality taking hold, and it’s so much fun to watch. I’m enthusiastic about encouraging her talents–she is an excellent athlete–and simply enjoying these days with her. We have an elderly dog, too, and I’m very aware of how fast the time goes. One sweet aspect is how much our little girl loves the old fella. Love seeing them together.
I am having fun with a new quilting technique that I just learned. It’s always fun to try new things.
Starting my vacation tomorrow!!!!!
I am really excited about the Tula Pink marquis quilt I started a several of months ago. I have been working on it daily. And it is progressing really fast.
