I had a rough sketch of this piece months ago, but never dedicated time to bring it to life.
A nudge from the universe for a July art show and the need to have a few new art quilts got me stitching.
The back turned out beautifully – I couldn’t bring myself to place the label over this black stitching.

I love your work so much! I was struck by the beauty of your craft on my second recent trip up to Alaska. I saw some of your pieces of the Alaska Adventure Series (I believe) in a sweet little shop in Anchorage. I am hoping to find a way to order a couple of them for my home. I live in Napa, California, and I was hoping to find some of them on your Etsy shop. I can’t seem to find them. I particularly loved Enjoy Evening Spent Hiking, Love Exploring Alaska, and Hiking is their Happy. If you could let me know a way I could order one or two of these, I’d be so very grateful!
