Finally Finished

I started this in 2012 for a challenge by the Anchorage Modern Quilt Guild. I had a few of the words and the rows of typewriters done when it was placed in a bag and ignored until this week. Since I had finished so many quilts, why not one more?

The words were improv pieced which adds some fun wonkiness and it’s quilted with so many straight lines. Everything is linen or linen-cotton blend except the letters which are Kona cotton.

It was a great statement to hang on the wall outside my studio/work office as 2021 starts.
